About Steve

Stephen Scheff has a doctorate in sociology and a “terminal” doctorate in clinical psychology and now bills himself a clinical social psychologist.  Stephen taught 33 years of high school and 36 years of college.  Now retired from the world of education — he likes to think he still has something of relevance to say. Stephen and Giti still live in Woodland Hills, California and grand daughters, Lara and Clara, (who live just down the road) are growing up too quickly for his liking.  Stephen became a grandfather again with the birth of Miles Lorenzo to Son Nick and wife, Shannon. 
Son Tyler is the Department Head of Switching and Distribution Systems based in Michigan.  Son Austen is a personal trainer in greater Los Angeles.
Playing music, surfing Topanga and the Rosenthal wine tasting room remain his sanctuaries.  Wine is the answer to all questions…
