I was going to start this article suggesting that I had sent an advance copy to Jerry Brown and it was the content therein that caused him to cast his lot for the Clintons (I\’m sure a new reader-or-two might have believed this [thank you]). But I didn\’t — and Guvner Brown beat me to the punch with his Hilary endorsement!
Yes, I fully intend to vote for Hillary (I\’m sorry Clive — but she\’s the only candidate who knows what\’s going on, and, is qualified for the job!). Bernie\’s allotta hot air, and the Donald, well, even more hot air!
Don\’t get me wrong — I like Bernie and am impressed by what he has interjected into the Democrats\’ campaign…it\’s just that I believe Bernie would end up looking a great deal like a certain peanut farmer who may-or-may-not-have contributed mightily to the Iran crisis of \’79/\’80 (which has perpetuated itself to this day [not to forget the 55 mph speed limit]). Hilary, on-the-other-hand, seems to have more experience politically and economically than all the wannabees put together.
Politically, She knows that we have our American tendrils sunk into at least 155 of the world\’s countries: economically she has suggested that if the Donald can\’t even make a casino profitable, how-in-the-Hell is he going to make America great again?! Lest we forget, legend has it that Hillary once turned a $1000-$1200 investment into a six-digit cash-out in 6-months-time. Now that is economic savvy! The Donald won\’t even give the workers of his bankrupt businesses severance packages. While not outright \”crooked\” — this sure sounds mean-spirited to me!
And of course Hillary is crooked — but isn\’t that a pre-requisite for the successful politician? I can\’t remember a president who wasn\’t, except for the aforementioned peanut farmer, and all he did was set the stage for-12-years-of Reagan and Bush.
As I have noted elsewhere — Billary is a Republican in Democrat clothing. Republicans should be happy for their impending return to the oval office. And after watching \”House of Cards\” — I wonder if Hillary wasn\’t supposed to succeed the Slick One — had he not literally been taken down by the Israeli Junta with an operation headed by Mata Hari/Monica — who sucked visions of a-16-year-Clinton-Camelot, dry.
It wasn\’t so long ago that I was referring to Hillary as \”Hitlery\” — which was probably an unfair comparison — even-as-First-Lady, she did not wield absolute power (and I have since retracted this comparison [because the Clintons have looooong memories). But as president, we will see if this comparison was correct. If she manages a second term, she will no doubt be dubbed Queen Hillary — and exercise her connection to the British throne.
I can\’t get too worked up about Bengazi or email gate because the Clintons have been in Washington long enough to know where all the bodies are buried (and where they might bury some more — particularly with those aforementioned looooong memories). So I\’m betting that whomever is in charge of these investigations of Hillary will be dropping them before too long. Didn\’t Ken Starr just get into some sort of trouble?
If we want at least 4-more-years of the status quo (and I for one don\’t want the boat rocked these next 4 years) — then Hilary\’s our girl, er, Queen.
