Is all of this Hellish partisanship the fault of Newt Gingrich? Neighbor Andre suggests that it all started when Newt admonished his Republican brethren to ne\’re break bread with a Democrat.
Nation: group of people linked through common descent, culture, language, or territory.
Amok: to behave uncontrollably and disruptively; go berserk, get out of control, rampage, riot, run riot, go on the rampage, behave like a maniac, behave wildly, behave uncontrollably, become violent, become disruptive…much like Brett Kavanaugh\’s performance and all the drama that followed…
I do believe the rest-of-the-world is tired of US shenanigans, and are already plotting their respective courses without US in the mix: US simply can\’t be trusted.
Don the Con just held a months-long song-and-dance with Mexico and Canada — only to make a few tweaks to the existent treaty and proclaim it a brand new, hard fought agreement that will benefit American workers: His base continues to eat-IT-up and downs the indigestible with Budweiser. (I do, however, like the new California wine deal with Canada — I guess thanks are in order here.)
But really, aside from California Wines — why would any country want to disadvantage themselves to trade with US? And why would anyone want to purchase expensive US steel or US coal??
Additionally, with the latest White House drama involving the prospective Supreme Court Justice, Brett Kavanaugh, who seems little more than a drunken, frat-boy liar — I\’d say you can throw US on the garbage heap with the rest of the Banana Republics — because the rabid Republicans, frothing with hate and fear, are willing to put a drunken madman onto the Supreme Court — which will immediately make the Court more of a joke than it already is (don\’t forget that Brett the Brat still likes beer, alot). Recall Pat Haden firing Lane Kiffin on the airport runway and giving Steve Sarkisian a pass for his drunken outburst? That\’s how drunks act. Alcohol-induced irritants fill up until they aggressively spill over. Not the temperament we want to see in a Supreme Court Justice. Retired Supreme Court Justice, John Paul Stevens doesn\’t like what he sees in Kavanaugh either.
Ruth Ginsberg — may you live forever!
I keep going to sleep thinking that I will wake one morning to learn that the Chinese Yuan has become the new reserve currency of Planet Earth, and, that there will not be a goddamned thing that US can do about it (hence my earlier comment of US speeding towards Banana Republic relegation).
We are no longer fooling anyone. Putin\’s wish of Our destruction is well underway…while we continue to fill our heads with minutiae…losing sight of the big picture only to dwell on issues like #MeToo. I\’m not saying that the Me Too movement is NOT important — I\’m simply suggesting that there is way more important stuff to our collective futures than Me Too…and…and… oh well — it\’s probably too late to make anything better…
I pledge my allegiance to Dodger and Trojan Nations (even though the Trojans suck).
I still appreciate Bill Maher\’s relentless efforts to right-the-ship (along with Tom Steyer\’s) and bring us back from the gaping abyss. And I have recently become aware of South Park\’s similar efforts to get the \”whack job\” out of the White House.
I can\’t pretend to understand all-of-the-dialog in South Park (I should probably use closed captions [if they have it]) — but from what I can understand — Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Brian Graden are the new Paul Revere, Patrick Henry and Nathan Hale. What wild, woolly, and wonderful sedition they preach through their characters (at least from what I can understand!)! They are even more biting than SNL\’s recent and delicious spoof on the pseudo proceedings involving our beer drinking boy, Brett the Brat.
Will Melania be coming back — or is this her attempt at self-induced exile? Did she bring the Kid?? If not, who\’s parenting the youngest Trump progeny???
