I\’ve Been Thinking…

Pearl Harbor Day — December 15th 2015

I take my drinking pretty seriously — the problem is — so does everyone else!

Sarkisian is such an asshole

Any sympathy I\’ve given this jerk — I formally withdraw.  He is a consummate asshole.  The last thing I remember about applying for a job is that you are supposed to disclose your disability — which he didn\’t.  Oh, I forgot, he \”learned\” about his disability while on the job.  Here\’s an idea — give him his $30 mil and then let every single SC football player sue him for the negative role modeling and mental anguish he caused them.  I\’m pretty sure his recently fired drinking buddies, who couldn\’t seem to put 8 men in the box to stop McCaffrey (they were reportedly quite rowdy in \’the eye in the sky\’), were fired for keeping the Sarkisian party going!

One of the frequently made comments by folks in AA is: \”I was such an asshole before I began going to AA\” — to which the rest of us think: You\’re still an asshole!

San Berdu

Of course my heart goes out to all those victims and their families…but what no one seems to take stock of is the damage these incidences of violence inflict upon the rest of us: we survivors are also casualties of the matrix that is America.  And the incredible coverage that goes into trying to answer the infernal question of \”Why?\” is quite ironic.  Even if someone succeeds in explaining exactly \”why\” — it won\’t explain shit about the next event.  I also have to agree with those pundits who suggest that all of the coverage given the murderers probably does spur others to go for their shot of notoriety and immortality.

Trump the Bitch?

I just saw this bumper sticker.  It\’s fascinating how so many people have been \”fired\” for making far less offensive comments (Al Campanis comes to mind) — but there is no stopping Trump.  As Trevor Noah pointed out — Donald\’s comments about his daughter are highly incestuous…

LAUSD was closed today

Well, now that entrepreneurial students know that the entire 640,000 member school system can be shut down by emails…
