Board OKs DWP Water Rate Increase
As I alluded to in a \”Bits and Pieces\” — DWP was going to get back that money they \”lost\” while we Californians were busy conserving water. As Don King was wont to say: \”Only in America.\” These boards are too fucking funny as they pretend neutrality while having their dicks and clits stroked by DWP and the PUC — as we will see below.
Not only will the DWP never have to answer for the millions in public monies they have essentially embezzled — they\’ve got a new 4-tier water usage plan that I\’m sure will plug up any possible money leaks. Talk about being had by the short hairs! Whoops, I forgot!! This is the \”shaved\” generation — they know nothing of that pain!
PUC Plans New Rooftop Solar Fees
In the PUC we have another farcical protectorate of the public. Only in America can you have an entity that punishes people using solar power by suggesting that solar power users aren\’t paying their fair share: their fair share of what?! Padded PUC salaries and pensions?! So now the PUC wishes to punish solar folks with a big-ass termination fee — making it most undesirable to leave the energy matrix.
As I wrote in \”Water in the Halls\”:
…You build a dam to hold back the flood
Have little boys thumb the leaks
turning a deaf ear to the cries of the poor
your metal feet trod the weak
and when the damn breaks open wide
and the hungry come clawing through
You paint them homes of paper dreams
and smile as they fall through…
