I wanted to write something light before tackling this topic (particularly when I have already promised to leave off writing about Him) — but the ease with which His followers are able to shrug off the contradictions has left me trying to find a way out of this Land of Confusion…
Like Nancy Pelosi, I hesitate calling Him a \”man\”– as he doesn\’t seem to have any of the positive qualities that we would hope emanate from a true man: like honesty; being a loving father and dutiful husband; being charitable; being a true friend; and, most of all — taking accountability for His thoughts, words and deeds.
He is certainly in full possession of all of the negatives we might ascribe to a \”failed man\”: He\’s a liar; He\’s a cheat; He\’s greedy; He\’s ruthless; He\’s a terrible parent; and, He blames anyone and everyone but Himself for the foul state of affairs that is US. In short, His behavior, character and demeanor are the OPPOSITE of what we would hope would be modeled from the oval office!
In His efforts to \”lock Hillary up\” He probably breached more security protocol than she ever did — what with his requests for the Russians to find her missing emails and utilizing Wiki Leaks: Not to forget His \”private\” meetings with Putin (the \’strong\’ leader)…I seem to remember Him railing on Obama for \”letting the enemy know what US military plans were.\” Yet He announces US departure from Syria and the fact that a congressional group was going to visit the war theaters abroad?! I find all of this highly contradictory.
We are now told that He has managed to \”trick\” Mexico into paying for his Wall in the latest trade agreement (that has yet to be ratified) with them. I can\’t believe that the Mexicans are that dumb that they would pay billions more than they have to to trade with US. But His base believes that he has indeed outsmarted the Wetbacks.
Yet He still wants $5.7 Billion from Congress. If He just got what he wanted from Mexico in this great new trade deal — why does He still need money from US for His Wall? Perfectly timed with this essay (a pun) — are the 376 Mexicans who got to US from a very long tunnel under the existent Wall. This is an hilarious irony (but maybe not a contradiction).
Speaking of protecting US citizens and securing the borders — TSAs are currently not getting paid to maintain security at our airports and on planes. How are they supposed to do their jobs properly? How can you brag about creating 300,000 new jobs (in Christmas December) while throwing 800,000 Americans (and quite possibly many, many more) under the bus — and then blame the shutdown on Nancy and Chuck — after everyone in the country (well perhaps not FOX zombies) heard Him \”own\” the shutdown on live TV?! How can one brag about a low unemployment rate while putting hundreds-of-thousands -out-of-work? Highly contradictory!
Let\’s get back to that promise He made about protecting Americans by building a great wall (and it remains true that no Mexicans have made it into China thanks to that Great Wall). Isn\’t NATO part of the system that protects US? Why does He repeatedly threaten to pull US out of NATO? Doesn\’t this seem like a contradiction to you? It wasn\’t Mexico that was trying to install nuclear missiles in Cuba! And what about the Coast Guard? How can you push for national security with a wall and fall down on these other vital protections for US? My head is spinning!
And why on earth should the South Koreans shoulder their own defense? We are the ones who divided that country into two and insisted on remaining in the South (to protect oil interests?). It seems quite outrageous (and contradictory) to have our \”friends\” pay for their hospitality.
…So as US descend into Hell (which is surely where the maze leads to — I want to officially congratulate Hannity for taking the devil\’s crown from Dick Cheney (even now that Cheney has a movie out). Hannity has seduced the Deranged One (that\’s what the pundits are finally calling him) and has become His Svengali. Is Hannity Putin\’s agent? It\’s difficult to think in this maze…
But I hear (early this morning) that Russia has taken over Zimbabwe — I need to fact check that…if I can find any in this maze…
